Jeep safari on Velebit mountain

    Land Rover Defender jeeps are waiting for you in Starigrad Paklenica. After meeting the drivers we set off to the canyon of Zrmanja River. We drive to the site where the movie Winetou was filmed, and from there we can enjoy beautiful view of the river Zrmanja. The wriggling river and almost 400 meters deep canyon that enters the Adriatic sea are a breathtaking sight.
    After enjoying the view, it’s time for the morning coffee or a soda on our half-hour brake and after that we drive through the south Velebit to a large valley. We stop in the valley and walk for a half an hour to the 260 meters deep pit called Mamut. After that we go back to the valley to have lunch.
    After lunch we continue the drive and cross over to the north side of Velebit, we drive for an hour and a half to the pass Alan which offers a magnificent view on the Velebit channel. During summer we visit the Zrmanja waterfalls where we enjoy swimming. book now
